I know it's way early for the holiday season, but we're looking for the perfect 'family' gift for friends in other states who have everything they want (and don't want more clutter). Seems like such a great idea to give them something to enjoy through the holiday season then pitch. Like food without the calories...

Easy to mail. No sizes to worry about. Nothing to store (unless they want to).

But they're a little pricey, so I hate to buy sight unseen. Anyone have experiance with these? Any favorites?

I'm loving...
The bayleaf- universal and should smell good

LL Bean (and maybe Lands End ) has wreaths and it's easier to find discount codes and free shipping with them than it is with WS. I think LLBean is has free shipping thru 12/20 right now.

I got the small bay leaf one a few years ago. I loved it. It looked great in my kitchen and you can use the leaves for cooking! I think I need to get another one!

I don't have any experience with the wreaths, but a friend of ours got one of their pre-decorated trees and it was beautiful.

I got the bay leaf one as a gift a few years ago and loved it. It wasn't very fragrant, but it dried beautifully and I was able to use some of the leaves for cooking.

I did LL Bean wreaths for my siblings and their families last year. They had free shipping codes, and then gift cards for you as the gift giver for spending $x. It made it a really good deal as I turned around and used the gift cards to buy some polos, etc. for DH for Christmas (needed to rebuild his work wardrobe).

I haven't seen the WS wreaths IRL so I can't compare, but LL bean is another place to check.

We send a LLBean centerpiece to a family friend who literally has everything. (And is very picky about what he doesn't have, LOL.) He usually doesn't do a tree so this is a nice holiday touch for his place. I always wait on free ship code or free ship and gift card. We've had nothing but good feedback on it.

We always order these for MIL and FIL etc. They are very nice and we love LLBean's quality.

I've also done Harry and David towers/baskets when they have a particularly good special or DOTD. Those will pick up closer to Nov.

Oh!! Thanks for the tip. The LLBean ones look lush and way cheaper that the WS. Any tips on when the gift card deal starts? I'm wanting one now... can't wait for the holidays.

Went apple picking this last weekend... am so in the mood for every and any holiday!!!
