Indentity stamp instead of shredding?

Anyone use something like this stamp (http://www.amazon.com/Identity-Theft-Protection-Rubber-Stamp/dp/B00379YTQM/ref=sr_1_3?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285037509&sr=8-3) for somethings instead of shredding? I'm thinking for just getting rid of my name/address it would be nice and easy.

I don't know. Frankly, I'm not so worried about my address as it's listed eg. I just rip up the charity requests for money if there's no other identifiable information - should I be more worried about the address being left on something? I always shred anything else.
