So far we are taking everyone to Disney in January.
DS1 -- LL Bean Critter Rolling Backpack & Star Wars Pop Up Book (from the deal last week)
DS2 -- LL Bean Critter Rolling Backpack

We don't really need anything. I am thinking of doing a disney theme -- give ears to everyone and maybe some tshirts and maybe a movie DVD or something.

I might give them something associated with skiing -- DH wants to get them skiing this year.

I haven't even thought of it. Granted DD is only 10 months old so really she wouldn't care if I wrapped up a toy she has owned since birth. I will buy her something but I don't know what yet. We still have her birthday between now and then anyway.

DD1 is getting a Corolle Miss Corolle Vanilla Brunette 14" doll and a couple of outfits. DD1 also wants this cupcake set from Playdoh she saw at Target.
DD2 is probably getting the tiniest 9.5" Corolle doll they make. Maybe I'll buy her a cute outfit or two because she'll be getting hand me downs from DD1 and other friends until the end of time (I think!)

My girls don't need much either.

So far ... DD is getting a wooden owl rocking stacker toy I saw at Magic Cabin when they ran a free shipping deal a few weeks ago:

http://www.magiccabin.com/product.asp?section_id=2001&department=1401&search_type=category&search_value=5102&cm_val=&cm_pos=&cur_index=&cm_type=&pcode=2132

I also want to get her a Steiff teddy bear like the one I had, even if it means I have to go into FAO Schwartz to get it.

Yes, I know she'll probably be more interested in the wrapping paper than the actual presents, but DH and I are big kids when it comes to Christmas!

I'm stumped with my older kids. Waiting it out for now.

I picked up a FP learning home for DS2 on CL yesterday to put away for him for Christmas. He's getting a few other recycled gifts LOL (walker wagon, etc.). He'll get a stocking from Santa ;) since the big kids saw us buy the FP toy.

Big kids...no idea. DD has expressed an interest in a horse stable and doll clothes.

DS1 would be up for Knex, Lego, PM, or stuff like books, etc.

They need nothing. If we are close to moving into a new house by then they may get cool stuff for their new rooms, fun stuff for finished basement if applicable (indoor hammock chairs, gymnastics mat, something like that).

DD will be 20 months. We got her a play kitchen on a deal I found out about here. We will probably get her a few accessories for that. I made some knitted cupcakes. Maybe a few books.

My son already has his heart set on the new Playmobil school and all the accessories.

http://store.playmobilusa.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-US-Site/en_US/Product-Show?pid=4324&cgid=Schule

All of the sudden he is all about Playmobil, so the school pretty much will be his whole Christmas. My DH and I both have gotten the Playmobil bug as well. I loved dollhouses and miniatures when I was a kid. I even made my own doll house and doll house furniture. So, the school is a boy toy I can get into! ;)

Santa is planning on bringing the School, 2 Playmobil van/SUVs for the school parking lot, some Playmobil Playground pieces and setting it all up on a custom made playmat (made of fleece?) for his train table. His train table has recently morphed into a Playmobil table.

Colwyn (7) and Lachlann (5) will be getting the Lego Hogwarts set as their big present from Santa. My husband and I will superglue it together Xmas Eve so it will be on display. No idea as far as other gifts for them.

Fiona will most likely be getting a dollhouse. Not sure which one.. I'd love to get her one of the super nice wooden ones from Nova Natural, but I'm not sure if it's worth the cost.

The only thing I know Niall will be getting is a blue/green striped H&M t-shirt screenprinted with "This Baby is Not a Horcrux" that I got off Etsy.

I just bought the Playmobil School for DD today! Not sure if it will be for her
birthday or for Christmas.
DS wants a Playstation 3 for his birthday.

I have to get through both kids' birthdays first! Then, I can think about Christmas!!

While I was in TRU yesterday looking at all the B2G1 items yesterday, I handed my coupon to a preschool mom and walked away...

I wondered if there was ANY chance I could just give them the stuff I've stored away in the attic from yard/consingment sales and just let that be it. What I think I realize, though, is that *I* want them to have at least some of the really cool fun things that are out, but they don't really need very much, esp. given the space we have.
DD
DS1- Imaginext Firehouse
DS2-

I want to ask grandparents/relatives to give them fun activities to make memories with them - like a day out with them or whatever, but I know they won't and they'll just end up buying stuff we have to pick up off the floor.

They are getting coal.

I would like to "like" this quote.

In all seriousness, my kids need nothing. I couldn't even really tell you what they play with now! I'm ready to get rid of just about everything--Little People, Duplos, Playdoh, etc. I probably won't do it, but I'd like to!

Well, we have birthdays next month and Christmas. And I've already over-done it for both without even buying another thing.

I already have:
Wooden makeup sets from TRU (FAO) The girls really liked these and have no idea I picked them up on clearance
Hyper Dash (are they too young for this? Should I save it?)
Block Cart thrifted (may sell on CL instead, still debating)
Toy Cash Registers to replace very old fisher price ones
Sprig trucks
Fancy Nancy Posh Puppies
A couple of Only Hearts Club dolls and a horse each

SpaceGal

Whatever is stocked in the gift boxes mostly from Target clearances and what not. :) It seems like a lot but we have to spread it out and they get the rest for their birthdays which is two months later in Feb/March.

Off the top of my head for the boys:
Curious George Hide and Seek Zoo game
Zhu Zhu Pet stuff
Pokemon playing cards
Duplos/Legos
Lego house set
Automoblox
Yo Gabba Gabba Megablock thing
Mater the Greater book
Toy Story 1 and 2 book from Kohls
some other random board games
(and will have to figure out what they ask Santa for)

for DD (and she has way more):
play food sets
a few MegaBlocks Ni Hao Kai Lan sets
wooden shopping cart
wooden doll cradle
an old school Strawberry shortcake
Ni Hao Kai Lan dolls

I haven't really thought about it but I still have a pretty hefty stash from last year's Amazon craziness. DD1 and DS got a Wii as a collective bday gift, so probably some new games. They haven't asked for anything else yet.

No real idea yet. My older son's birthday is on Monday, so I can't really think about until then.

Some of the things I've been kicking around...
For both:
Homemade doorway puppet theater
Puppets

For younger son:
Something "Cars" related. He has "McQueens" undies, which he loves. Maybe some cars and a ramp or something? Maybe the movie? Not sure just yet.

I think DS is getting a wii. If so, he'll probably get one other toy from Santa and a book or two.

I bought the Ikea toddler wagon for DD, not sure if I'll do that for Christmas or not. If not, maybe we will add to the block collection in the house "for her." Otherwise, probably some clothes.

This thread started before the stickies.
Actually. every post on this thread before yours was before the sticky post was created.
