60 pc. set currently $32 on Amazon. This is the lowest I've seen them in the year or so I've been stalking them. http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-60-Piece-Standard-Blocks/dp/B00008W72D/ref=sr_1_3?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285291784&sr=8-3

We already have a couple sets of unit blocks (not M&D), but with both kids playing we always seem to run out. Ordered a new set to supplement. Thanks!

They're down to $31.15. And almost all the M&D stuff is on a great sale right now. Not sure how long it will last, so scoop up what you want now!

What brand are the others? Note that M&D unit blocks are a slightly different scale from the standard unit block.

Great price! I stalked them for a while myself and wound up getting them at B&N a while back for $27.50 and that was as low as I've ever seen them.

Thinking about getting these for Christmas. We have some smaller M&D blocks and some Barclay blocks. Any reason I should not get these to add to our current blocks? Does the different scale interfere with mixing them for play?

Thanks!
Catherine

Not for play, no. But it would mess up the "two triangles=one square" type ratios. They would NOT match up the way they are supposed to. It's best to get all unit blocks being used for unit blocks play in the same ratio.
