what are you saving your GAP groupon for?

There are so many GAP deals but I feel like I still have to save my groupon! I think I want to wait to spend on the warmest jackets when these go on sale, which I'm hoping is soon.

Remind me, we can use these on sale items, but not stack them with other coupons or specials, correct?

You can use it when they have an in-store special like 25% off all sale merchandise. You cannot combine with a coupon. Mine expires November 19, 2010.

You need to use it in one visit ($50 minimum purchase)

I had planned on using it for DS, but I am thinking of using it for me.

already spent... they had pj for 1.97 and a bunch of other things on final clearance one weekend. i was trying to wait for the additional 25-40% off summer/fall sales. i just hope they might have the groupon again! i need sweatshirts for dd.

i was able to use it with a promo (buy a pair of kids jeans, get another for $10), but was not able to combine it with a coupon.

i have 2 more to use. hopefully i'll need to spend it on winter maternity clothes, but we'll just have to see. otherwise, it will probalby be for buying next years winter clothes for DC which i always do a year in advance.

Mine is long gone. I bought 4 fall shirts, clearance swim trunks, and a pair of sweat shorts for DS1. My total was $3. No screaming deals, but 4 in season shirts, plus more, was not bad for $28.

Same here. Keep trying but just can't find anything "groupon worthy". Why is it that when I don't have a coupon or gc I can spend just fine, but when I do it's a major decision to get the most out of it. Granted on my trips to use it so far I've probably spent almost $50 combined on deals for the kids, but never a full $50 at one time...

Ugh mine is gone, too. I only bought 1 to use to get DD some new clothes for the Fall. I kinda wish I asked DH to get 1 so I'd have another one. oh well...I did get her some really cute rainbow striped over black clothing: a hooded sweater, leggings, and a dress that all match (not as cheap as I wanted, but on sale at least):

groupon is a site that offers one deal a day. About a month ago they offered a 50 dollars rewards card for 25 dollars for the gap.

I used mine today! I went for the 3 hour 50% off jeans sale but I wasn't able to use my Groupon for them, I did get ds 3 pairs anyway. I had a few other items I was getting and there were a few more I wanted (but didn't want to pay full price for) so I went back and got them anyway to use my Groupon.

You can stack it with an additional % off sale if the register automatically takes the discount off sale. If they have to manually override it (like the jeans promo today), you can't use the groupon (because it's a manual override code - used to work for gap inc long ago :))

I used mine yesterday for my nephew's birthday present and a few things for DS. The sale was an additional 40% off at GAP kids/baby so I got a jacket, jeans (not on sale), 2 shirts, hat and crayons for $25. Nice.

I used mine to buy clothes for DH. Thank goodness for Groupon or he'd never let me get him new stuff! I got 2 t-shirts, 2 other shirts and a sweater for $46 total ($21+Groupon). Not the best deal in history, but I'm happy. :)

Saving it for something for DD. I have had a really hard time finding good deals on 2T clothes.

The last few lines I have not liked. The new Sun Valley is nice, and with her favorite color purple, however I just called my local store to see if they had it in and they only have a few pieces (all regular price stuff is 25% off yesterday and today only). They will have it all by next week. I will head down next week, and while the deals won't be fabulous I can get her a few outfits that she will love.

They turn over lines every 6 weeks - so this should be last "big" release before the Groupon expires.
