I usually am not a big fan of corduroy-- but I really like it! It looks good in every color, but the green is gorgeous!

I think that is a pretty coat, have you tried it on in the store? Double breasted coats never look right on me even though they look good in the picture.

I personally don't like corduroy, but I do like the style.

In the middle. I'd want to see how it hangs. If it's really stiff I wouldn't like it. If it has movement then it could be ok. I have a corduroy blazer that I like and I think it works in that but maybe not a trench.

Thanks ladies. Yeah, I think its super cute.

However, I've vetoed it as completely impractical in our climate. If it ain't Goretex, its not worth it. All it EVER does here is rain (so it seems), so corduroy would be like wearing a sponge. Sigh.

I just saw this thread and checked out the jacket and thought that it wouldn't work here at all. The times of year that it would work here- spring and fall, also tend to get cold rain. I just got this jacket and love it:

I got it in the pink too, which is really a fun, pick-me-up color. I also love that it has the draw-string waist. My last rain trench had a belt that I nearly lost several times.
