I'm putting this in the bargain forum because I know a lot of us use ebates when ordering from diapers.com. Since ebates increased their cashback to 5.5% from 4%, I've not been getting all my cashback from diapers.com with them. I found out today why. Apparently if you get a price match on an item in the order, it VOIDS the rebate. Ebates considers that a coupon that was not found on their site (WHAT?!?). This was never an issue until very recently, but it happened to me on two big purchases. I'm not sure if this is the case with fat wallet, but I've not had any problems with them yet. I was going to place an order this weekend using a pricematch, so I can update in a few days...
Anyway, just keep in mind that if you are placing an order from diapers.com and it includes a price match on any item in your order, ebates will most likely not honor the cash back....
HTH someone!
ETA - I finally got one of my pricematched rebates, but it was credited incorrectly for not as much money (I lost out on about $3, but t this point, I no longer care). The second one they wouldn't credit me because I had a $7 price match and I used a $10 gift certificate (bought with pampers pts) to pay for part of the $240 order and according to the mgr who emailed me back, the $7 match was a discount not through ebates and using a gift certificate is also against the rules.
On a positive note, I placed an order two days ago through fat wallet using a pricematch and it went through already, no problem. So, I will continue to go through fat wallet for diapers.com orders. Besides, at 6% they pay better!

Is anyone having this problem with other stores? I just looked, and I did not get cashback from 3 overstock purchases I made recently.

I had this happen once, but when I explained to ebates that it was a pricematch and not a coupon, they gave me the cashback.

Interesting, because on one of my purchases after much going back and forth, they finally did credit me tonight, but they explained that it was a "discount" not authorized by ebates (and they credited me less than I should have gotten, but I didn't much care anymore at that point). The second order I am still arguing with them. Either way, it's not worth the hassle for me - I'd just as soon go through a site where I don't have to go back and forth with them...
I'll try fat wallet and see what happens...

Hopefully they'll give me the cashback on my most recent order. I ordered 2 car seats, so that's a heck of a lot of cashback!

I had to actually contact customer service on one of my orders (under site feedback/issues). I would recommend doing that on the 15th day if it hasn't posted yet. The other I am still waiting for an answer on. It's such a pain though. They never used to be this way.
No problems with fat wallet yet, but I don't think I've ordered with a pricematch from them... ETA - still no problems with fat wallet, even with a price match!

Fat wallet did credit me no problems with a price match. Added the info to my original post :)

Just thought I'd update. I contacted ebates about my purchase at diapers.com and was told, no, I used a coupon, so I don't get the cashback. I replied that the coupon was a price match to another website, and not really a coupon, and they looked into it and, now, 2 days later, my cash back is in my account.
Same thing happened last time we ordered a car seat w/ price match. I had to dispute it, but in the end I got the $.

Hmmm...so does that mean that even using a coupon issued by Diapers.com will now void any CB from eBates? If so, that really sucks...was hoping to get DD her winter shoes now that Diapers.com issued a 25% off clothing/shoes coupon :( Guess I will have to find another CB site for shopping w/Diapers.com

If the coupon code is listed on ebates, you'll have no problem getting cash back. I also used a coupon code that diapers.com had on one of the seats I ordered and it wasn't a problem - I didn't even check to see if it was listed on ebates or not.

On one of mine they gave me cashback after escalating it to a manager. On the other dispute, they would not. Fat wallet credited me right away. honestly it's just not worth it to me to have to go through the trouble. If anyone is a huge ebates loyalist though, just know you're going to have to argue it - so far I'm 50% (and I didn't get the right amount back - they came back about $3 short)... I still will use them for a lot of other stores, just not diapers price matches...
ETA - this is the message they gave me:
"Manu. Coupon: $xx
The good news is you saved $xx in this order. The unfortunate news is Ebates earned no commission for this sale leaving us with nothing to share with you for your cash back rebate. We too would have liked to have earned credit for this order. We hope that your next purchase will be credited to Ebates without an issue.
Sincerely,
xxxx
Customer Care
Ebates"
So basically, even if you argue it, they still may not give you the money since they are stating that diapers is not giving it to them. On my one order, they did do it because they were being "nice."
Like I said, I am not going to stop using ebates, just not for diapers.com. And shopper beware when using ebates with diapers.com pricematches. I'd rather go with the fat wallet sure thing, personally, then have to go through countless emails back and forth with ebates that result in the above... Plus fat wallet gives more money back anyway...
Just my 2 cents...
