Just curious, how long after you stopped breast feeding did your cycle come back to normal?
Prior to DD1 I was on birth control for 7 yrs. . I started on the mini pill when DD1 was 8 weeks old, went back on regular pill when she was 4 mos. old (and stopped bfing). Went off pill to TTC when DD was 2. Got pregnant 6 mos. later. Lost the baby, got period back six weeks after loss. Got pregnant with DD2 two months later. Went on mini pill when DD2 was six weeks old. Stopped breast feeding when DD2 was just over 3 mos. old. Ran out of mini pills the begining of August. Period started August 27th.
DH had a vasectomy on August 13, we couldn't do the deed for two weeks, then I was on my period so nothing until right around labor day IIRC. We've been using condoms.
It's been so long that I have actually had to think about when my period comes because even when we were TTC the baby we lost I got my period like clockwork just like when I was on the pill. I do remember pre birth control (so pre turning 21) I would get my period 28 to 31 days after it ended so I wonder if that's what my body is doing again.
I am trying to avoid going back on birth control again, but I am wondering if I should just until DH and I have met the 25 times thing so we know for sure that the vasectomy worked.
