I'm a BFing newbie and this may be a stupid question but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere...
If I have some breastmilk in the refrigerator that I pumped yesterday, can I add to it a little more milk that I pumped today? What I have from one pumping session yesterday is not even enough for a servings worth, but if I can add to it, I'll have enough for a feeding. Please let me know!

I do it all the time. I will label the combined bottle with the date of the oldest milk.

I would do it if and only if they're the same temperature. (i.e. - pumped milk from today is already refrigerator temp, not freshly pumped.)

From the Medela site:

You can continue to add small amounts of cooled breastmilk to the same refrigerated container throughout the day. Avoid adding warm milk to already cooled milk.
