DS is turning 6 and we would like to get him a basic, remote control car. It could be for inside or inside/outside. A bonus would be if it could actually carry things (such as Lego figures).

These look interesting (although, obviously wouldn't carry anything).

Thoughts?

are the kid galaxy morphibeans loud? we have an old rc car that, although it works fine, i can't stand because it is so loud. i would honestly consider buying a new one if it is quieter.

Nope, very quiet and easy to use. I saw a few bad reviews on Amazon but we have two that we take outside and they still work well after a year.
