sooooooooo sweet. I still remember the first time DS said it to me. We were sitting outside on the swing and he snuggled next to me and said "mommy, I love you". I about cried!

DD2 keeps telling me, "Mama, you're the best!" No idea where she got it from, but I really need to catch it on video one of these days so when she's a teenager and tells me she hates me I can play it back for myself and remember how sweet she was at 2! ;)

Definitely!!

DD1 (3) will say "Mom, you're the best" and will also hug me at night time and say "I want to keep you forever." I just about cry each time. I have no idea where she got that from but it's awesome.

DD2 however is just saying da da da da. I keep reminding her that da da day doesn't feed her in the middle of the night. She doesn't get it.

Aw, that's the best! I often hear DD saying "I wuv (love) Mommy!" over the monitor when she wakes up from her nap and is chilling in her crib. So cute! :love-retry:
