I would like to get DS a play kitchen this year for Christmas. He will be 2. I've started looking into them and was wondering which ones would be best. We would be using it indoors. Thanks!

I would love to hear some recommendations too. DS will be 2 1/2 at Xmas and we are looking at a play kitchen too.

DS doesn't have one, but I LOVE the Ikea play kitchen. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49874533

IMO it is very gender-neutral and looks like the real thing. Plus the accessories available are just to die for!

I'd like to see what others have to say. We plan on getting Camden's Kitchen from Camden Rose for Christmas. I like that it's made from solid, salvaged wood (as I did a bit of work with Emerald Ash Borers before motherhood!). I considered Elves and Angels too but they are pine...

Well, it will never, ever happen, but the play kitchen of my dreams is the one from PBK.

My cheaper substitutes are these:

But I'm biased towards this one--for obvious reasons ;)

Oh yeah, other than the PBK, I've never seen any of these IRL. Nor does DS have a play kitchen as of yet. I'm just excited and have been looking for a while. :rotflmao: I am partial towards wood rather than plastic though.

I would love to get the PBK kitchen too!! I'm leaning towards the kidkraft. I missed the sale at Target recently when they had the pink one on clearance. I'm curious to know what they look like in person though. I'm going to have to keep my eye out for some more deals.

I will have to check out Ikea for all the food and gadgets... they look nice!
