Price for a window washer?

What do you pay your window washer if you have one -- we have one coming on Sat who says it is $8 a window -- so that is over $200 for our house ...

Ours charges $6/window and we have a 2500 sq 3 story townhouse so i definitely get my monies worth.

You're supposed to wash your windows? Who knew?;)

I don't know what window washing alone costs, but we're about to get our house (and windows and screens) power washed for about $280 (two story home).

Maybe that will give you a ball-park idea?

My regular cleaning lady does my windows twice a year separate and apart from the regular house cleaning. We have 28 windows with the blinds between the glass so she is effectively cleaning 56 windows because she opens up the panes to clean between the blinds. She charges $250 each time. She was charging me $150 until she realized that she had to open the window panes and was going to have to do double the work.

We have a 2 story house (3400sf) and just paid $225 to have the windows and screens cleaned inside and out. The guy worked hard, too, I felt bad only paying him $225! He also cleaned all the mud dauber and wasp nests from the eaves which was nice.
