Tell me about tea tree oil for cleaning.

It says that it shouldn't be ingested. Can I still use it with water to clean my countertops, highchair and other surfaces that come in contact with food? Also, do you know if it's safe to use on granite?

What mixture do you use? I've seen anywhere from a few drops to a cup of water all the way to a few teaspoons! Can I mix with vinegar and water for an even more powerful cleanser?
