Use code WOW.

I just bought 4 $25 gift certificates for various restaurants in my city. Total cost was only $4!

Thanks I got in just in time! :bighand: I couldn't resist buying 3 certificates to 2 newer restaurants I've been wanting to try out in our town. spent only $4.50 for almost $100 worth of certificates.

remember you do usually have to spend 45 dollars in order to use your 25 in gift certificate for example...would this be good to give as a gift??

Can someone post the link please? I only see "Get $25 Restaurant Gift Certificates for only $10" on the homepage. Maybe offer is over? Thanks!

You need to put it code = WOW - discount will show as soon as you enter the code.

I'm so glad the code is still working!

lchang, just add any gift certificates you want. At checkout, where it says "Enter promo code" at the top, enter "WOW". Everything is 90% off, so you can buy a $100 gc too, and it will only cost you $10.

TwoBoos, thanks for posting that it was still active as I forgot to do it last night!

I ordered 3 things but it seems like the system is jammed. I haven't gotten a confirm so I hope it went through. Anyone else still waiting for a confirm and can't see their certificates?

It took a few hrs, but I just received an email w/ the certificates I ordered.

I've never purchased from restaurant.com before because of all the restrictions of the gift certificates, but I'm really tempted to try this time. Will a restaurant allow you to use multiple gift certificates at a time? And if a gift certificate has a minimum purchase requirement, is that the amount before the gift certificate applies or after? Thanks a lot!

I ordered last night and just got my email a few hours ago, so it might take a while.

All the restaurants we have gone to will only let you use one cert. at a time.

And the minimum purchase is before you apply the cert. So if it is a minimum of $50 you will owe $25 after you use the cert.

HTH!

Can someone answer some questions for me....I've never purchased from restaurant.com before because DH and I never get to go out. We don't have a sitter, and realistically getting a family member to watch the kids is a very rare treat. So my questions are for those who have ordered before:

1. When do the certificates expire?

2. If the description does not specify DINE IN ONLY is it safe to assume that it can be used for carryout or not? Many of the descriptions don't say dine in only but they do talk about adding an 18% gratuity, which to me does not seem to go with carryout.

Thanks! I'd love to take advantage of this awesome deal and be able to "treat" me and DH with some yummy food but not if the certs. will just go to waste.

Such a good deal but the fine print makes it not so great -- at least in my area! Maybe some better places will sign on eventually....

The certificates do not expire... they used to, but I don't think they do anymore.

I always assume if it doesn't say DINE IN that you can use it for take-out, but I think you'd still get charged the 18% gratuity.

Anybody else having trouble checking out? I can't get it to bring up the page where it asks for my CC info.

I have the GCs in my cart... they've been there all day but I can't check out. Also, I tried to open IE (I use firefox) and check things out and it looks like the ones in my cart are all sold out... not sure if since they're in my cart in firefox that means I can still get them or if it crashed the system somehow?
