Doesn't this usually work? I'm ordering my friend a Britax Frontier 85 through her account and I got diapers.com to price match BabyCatalog.com's 25% off, bringing the price to $209. Then I tried to apply 2 different new customer codes that I have and neither worked. Both times I got the message of "This promotion code cannot be combined with a Price Match coupon." Is this a new thing? I was reading the Frontier thread from just 3 weeks ago and someone said to get diapers.com to price match, then apply the new customer code. They had also said that diapers.com applied the $10 Parenting Magazine rebate credit to their account over the phone, but when I called they said I had to send in the separate rebate form to Parenting.
Anyone successfully combine a price match with a new customer code lately?

They fixed it some time this past week. I tried it a few days ago, and got the same error message as you. :(

Seriously?!?! So they were never supposed to combine? My friend's going to be bummed out since I said I could get such a good deal for her. It all sounded too confusing for her so she said I could log into her account and just do it for her. That sucks!

Yeah, Diapers.com is starting to suck. I have made at least a couple of big purchases from them in the past, but based on their recent treatment of me (and my family) this may change. They basically accused my aunt of being me because she tried to buy DD2 a stroller. Her name, billing address and credit card info have NO similarities to mine, yet they still basically assumed my aunt didn't exist & proceeded to close her account.

I agree that they are starting to suck. They crack down on this yet allow people to get credits by posting their personal codes on craigslist? I have two words for you gals: AMAZON MOM!!!

Whu-hut?!? That's crazy! Though I tried to return something a few weeks ago and I sent an email to do the return and just replied to the order confirmation email they told me that they had no record of me ordering the item (well it was an item that I had ordered 3 times previously from them and it was listed on the email receipt below). So I just called and they found it and the person helping me said she had no idea why the person who responded couldn't find it.
Yeah, you can no longer combine a pricematch with ANY other discount as of last week. In fact ebates won't even pay out on a pricematched item (fat wallet will). Though I can't say I'm surprised they stopped the discount stacking - it's a big bummer, but I think they had to stop it at some point. I know a bunch of us were able to benefit from it, but I think it probably was hurting their bottom line. I'm kind of surprised it lasted as long as it did.... I'm glad they're still pricematching though...
I do find that I'm shopping more at amazon lately as well...

I agree...it's crazy and kind of disappointing that they're treating us like that. I used to love Diapers.com & in the past year made a couple of fairly big purchase (Graco Ipo & some baby gates, etc.) from them. I don't know why they thought my aunt was me. She used my referral code, yes, as I thought we were allowed to refer family as long as they lived at a separate address....but NONE of her info. was the same as mine. Oh well...they just lost her business as it was too much trouble for her to call & reinstate her account.

Maybe she can be a new customer again then :wink2:
What's really goofy is that I had a friend who wanted to close her account but she couldn't figure out how. There was nowhere on the site that would let her do it!
Well, I still will use them for their pricematching (until that goes away), but I'm finding their cs to be completely lackluster lately. Maybe it's because it used to be stellar that I'm disappointed, but then they shouldn't start with Nordstrom-like cs and switch it to Target-like cs midway through the game...
