Asking a lot today. What's a good "budget" booster (I think that is what I need, but all the terminology confuses me so maybe not) for an almost 3 yo, 35 lbs, 38+ inches tall? This would be used as a second car seat for us. (Primary seat will be nautilus). Hoping to spend between $50-75 and get something that will last us a while. Thanks!

I'd definitely get an Evenflo Maestro for him. It's a combination seat, can be found for $60-$80

For an child who isn't 3 yet, whatever you buy, make sure you use in with the 5pt harness NOT in booster mode.

I figured this would likely be the one recommended based on reading other posts but so many have such great knowledge I wanted to ask just in case. I definitely wanted to have a 5 pt harness for as long as possible. There is no way I'd trust my son to not wiggle any time soon.

Thanks! Off to do some online shopping!
