We used to have the set but they've slowly disappeared in the last 5 years. I'd love to get the first few, does anyone know of any deals?

Don't know if it still works but it would be worth a try on the Signing Time site. Amazon also had discounted prices on them when I checked. After shipping the Baby Steals "bargain" was close to the Amazon price.

Here's the code: STEALS15

Um. Depends on what you call close. And still cheaper. I checked this. The Amazon prices for the 3 disks in question were $19.99, $19.99, and $17.49. With shipping, the kidsteals deal was $13.33/disk. And that was considering the CD completely free since I would likely not have bought it otherwise.

kidsteals shipping varies by location so if you're further, its higher. I know shipping to here is pretty high which often makes amazon prices very close for me if I'm just buying 1 set of stuff.

They were lower last week, I think, because I also compared amazon to the kidsteals deal and found the difference negligible (I didn't care about the CDs). Or maybe it was the baby signing times/babysteals deal that was almost the same as amazon.

Best Buy has Series 2 sets for 14.99 (3 or 4 DVDs per set). I ordered the first one but havent had a chance to actually watch them yet to see if they have the basic first signs. I figured I couldnt lose at $5/DVD.

I checked amazon before buying the kidsteals. None were less than $16/disk. I did not check the baby signing time deal.

Shipping was $5 to Texas.

emily: I checked Series 2 out of the library and, for now, we prefer the Series 1 disks. Too bad :* Because that best buy is an excellent deal!

This is the best deal-- 7 DVDs for $32 shipped. I ordered them a few days ago.

I also just ordered 3 additional DVDs with the Signing Time 50% off deal and was able to use the code "news2010" for an extra 10% off. So 3 DVDs for $34 shipped.

PSA: Signing Time does have an eBay presence although they don't seem to want to tell anyone directly. I purchased Series 1 Vol 1-6 a few months ago and from the seller Signing_Time and they appeared to come directly from Signing Time.

Sure enough, I just received the same email confirming shipment for the DVDs I ordered from SigningTime.com on Black Friday. You may be able to get a comparable price this way with out waiting for a special sale...

Signing Time on eBay (http://myworld.ebay.com/signing_time/)

Current Offerings (http://shop.ebay.com/signing_time/m.html)

They do seem to change their prices & offerings & Buy it now vs. auction - search their feedback to see what prices others have paid.
