just add tea tree oil straight to shampoo?

We've used tea tree oil plenty in past making our own diaper wipe solution, so I know to only use a little, etc.

DD had an EEG yesterday and I have to get the gel and grit and grease paint out of her hair. She has alot of hair, it's curly and super matted...not fun.

Wondering if I can add a little TTO directly to her shampoo or if that is not safe to do ( could get in her eyes) vut more worried about chemical reaction.

Anyone tried it?

I have heard of people doing it to prevent lice so I think it's probably okay.

:yeahthat: I've read 10-15 drops added to a regular-sized bottle of shampoo for lice prevention, if that gives you some idea of the amount to use.
