It went from 100+ degrees at my house last week to rain and cold this week. Fall has arrived in SoCal and I need some new slippers.
So what are your favorite slippers?
I pretty much live in my slippers, as I spend a lot of time at my house, so I like me some nice slippers. ;)
Last year I had the Ugg mocassins, but they always came untied and it bugged me. I liked the way they looked and felt though.
I have also tried the tempurpedic ones from Brookstone. I still have a pair that have a sturdier sole.

My feet are quite happy at the moment in these:

We have hardwood floors and cold winters so warm slippers are a must. These are the best!!

They have a lot of slippers online!

No, but my daughters would love it if I did! I think the blue ones look like Cookie Monster. :ROTFLMAO: I opted for the boring brown ones instead.

I have Lands End clog slippers and I'm very happy with them. They are warm, have good traction and are very comfortable. I like that I can wear them into the garage or down the driveway and also not worry about slipping on carpeted stairs.

I bought these from Land's End for my hubby last year, but then he found practically identical ones at Costco for much cheaper so we ended up returning the ones from Land's End. They were equally cozy and comfy.

ETA: I bought him the men's version obviously.

The blue ones reminded me of Cookie Monster too!! Boring brown is the best choice...very cute.

These are great suggestions. I do think I like that Ugg style, but looking at Target and Costco are great ideas.
And I really think it would put a smile on my face every single day to pull on those Acorn Boa booties!

A few years ago I had some Uggs that were awesome and I finally wore them out. I couldn't swallow the price again so I bought 2 or 3 pairs of knockoffs that just weren't nearly as comfortable so after DS was born I treated myself to another pair of Uggs. Once again, I loved them and they were worth the price...until the shearling lining wore out after only FOUR months. Seriously, for $90 your slippers should last a l-o-n-g time, even if you do wear them every day (all day).

Anyway, I'm no help, I know, but I'm also trying to find something since I still haven't replaced those Uggs that have a worn spot in the big toe. I may have to try the Cookie Monster ones. :)

Wanted to give a shout out to my Crocs Mammoths.

And Maylips, I also have some Uggs where the lining wore away very quickly!! Mine is by the heel, though. I agree that for the price they should not be that way.

I have a pair of slippers from Restoration Hardware (of all places) -- but I have seen similar one elsewhere (RH only sells slippers around the holidays I think). They are like little down comforters for your feet. So comfy and warm!

BTW, love the Acorn Boas -- like having a little muppet on your foot!

Good thread, because I need a pair! We just moved back to a colder area after spending 5 years in NC, and my feet are already cold (booo!!!).

LOL at the muppet comment. Glue some ping pong balls on the top of the foot, add a little sharpie pupil and you'd have a built in puppet show ;) My kids have acorn slippers and seem to really like them so I bet the boas are comfy :)

I've had these for 2 winters now. They are super durable and are like having little sleeping bags on your feet !

About a month ago I bought a pair of Birkenstock clogs to wear as my indoor slippers. Super comfy and great arch support. When it gets super cold I'll just add some wool or fleece socks while I wear them. Not too pricey either from 6pm.com. I wouldn't wear them out of the house though . . . they give me total duck feet.

We love LLB for our household slippers. Nothing like them - warm, cozy, mold to your feet and they LAST. These are the ones I like:

Love my Haflinger boiled wool slippers. Easy on/ off, mold to your feet with a little bit of arch support, and toasty without making my feet sweaty. They are the only slippers DH will will wear due to the breathability. Have tried other wool slippers, they don't really compare.
