Convertible Car Seat

I need to purchase a convertible car seat to be used in my father's car. He will be taking my daughter to day care 3 days a week its a mile away from his home and wont be going on any highways so I was wondering if anyone can recommend a convertible car seat we don't want to spend to much right now in my car i use the first years true fit car seat in my car I appreciate everyones feedback Thank you

Maybe something small and easy like the Evenflo Tribute would work well. It would fit her for about 3 years (assuming she's a baby now?....) Or splurge on something that will last a little longer like the Evenflo Symphony, which actually makes a good rearfacing seat, forward facing seat, AND excellent latchable booster and won't expire for 8 years, will probably fit her that long, too.
