Vera Bradley ladies...which ones have you carried for a diaper bag? I have had the big Vera diaper bag (black microfiber) for a year and I like it but the bag itself is heavy! I am looking for something a little lighter and more tote looking, than diaper bag looking. I have a 13 month old.

I checked out the tote called the "Vera" and liked that it had inside pockets all the way around the inside.

Suggestions?

For a tote, I like the Villager because it has a zipper to close it and you won't have stuff falling out of it. Lately, I've been using the Large Backpack (now retired, can find on ebay) since I now need my hands free.

I have a Vera I use all the time but I don't think it would be great as a diaper bag because of the lack of zipper. I use the java blue baby bag and really like it. There where also a couple of new ones at the store the other day that were pretty cool but I can't. Rememb er what they were called. I would just go to the atore and look at the new styles.

I have the discontinued Cargo Sling that makes a great toddler bag if you want a cross-body bag. My SIL has the Villager and its just big enough to pack a few dipes/wipes for her two girls and her own purse stuff. I've also been looking at the Pleated Tote, which is bigger but I think it would be nice for those days when I need to stuff jackets/hats/mittens in my bag while we're out! Now if only she would put them on her one-day sales on her website!

I love my VB Pleated Tote! It has pockets on the outside for a sippy and my water bottle, inside there are 3 pockets on one side and one large zippered one on the other. The top also zips completely closed. It's a nice sized tote but not too big for everyday carrying and it's lightweight!

Glad to hear a good review! I just won a Mediteranean Blue one on Ebay, can't wait to get it! I would really love the Very Berry Paisley, but can't afford the popular prints, LOL!

If you are looking for something for quick trips, a Betsy might work. Also take a look at the Bowler and the Squared Away bags. Pleated tote and Villager are also good options. All of these are great purses, but would easily work as diaper bags especially if you can leave home the kitchen sink. ;)

The Vera is a great bag, but no zipper at the top. One of the neat things about it though is that you can actually reverse it by turning it inside out and folding the top down. Gives it a whole different look, is smaller that way also.
