I ordered this Hopper Ball for 6 year old DS. The reviews are all very positive and mention 5 and 6 year olds (and older) using the ball.

I got it yesterday and it is SO small that I can't imagine a child over the age of 4 being able to bounce on it. I inflated it to its maximum circumference (the directions say 44" even though the ed. review on amazon says over 53").

I am annoyed about having to return it (and pay shipping charges) and confused about why the reviews mention it being great for a large age range.
Even though this Tie Dye is pretty ugly, I am thinking that I might order this in the 24" size (and what exactly does that mean?)

Any suggestions would be great.

The sizes are definately confusing. We got DS1 a 18" when he turned 3- he could not use it- too big. Then a friend got him a 16" and it was perfect. Now at nearly 6 he can still use them both but if I were to buy a new one now it would definately need to be bigger.

How about this one?
