I am full of questions today

I was wondering how all you ladies store your kids toys that they can only play with when you are there. Ds is 2 and he loves coloring and playdough. I don't want him doing these things on his own, but then I stick them some where out of reach and we hardly play with them because we forget out them.....

What do you do?

We have a dedicated "art top" on our breakfast room hutch. Everything coloring, painting, playdough, etc., goes up there.

DD1 has access to crayons and color wonder markers but "real" markers (even though washable) are kept up higher on a bookshelf in our family room. They aren't out of sight so she does ask us to use them. Playdough is stored in a bin in our trofast. She can reach it, but she knows to ask first to use it.
