What is a good disinfectant to use around the house that is safe for babies? I was interested in Benefect but can't find it anywhere near me. I'm looking for something without bleach, that doesn't need to be rinsed, and that can be used on kitchen counters, doorknobs, etc during flu season. Thanks!

Since I make most of my cleaners, I use a Vinegar solution (you can add a few drops of essential oil fro scent) or Hydrogen peroxide.

Thank you for the suggestion. Can anyone recommend a retail product? (I'm not very good at mixing my own solutions) :)

Vinegar diluted in water, sometimes I add some tea tree oil. I've also used th generation and Babyganics (didn't like this one, was a gift from someone else). BioKleen products are also really nice. I stay away from Method as I think they act greener/safer than they really are. Dr. Bronner's castile soap is also a great option that I've used.

Just use straight vinegar, no need to dilute or mix with anything else.
