View Full Version : Favourite Comfy Shoe Brands?

Ok, now that summer is over and I can't wear my flip flops daily, it's time to find a new pair of comfy shoes for the winter. Right now I am just wearing a pair of running shoes with jeans but want something a little more pulled together looking. I need a ton of arch support in my shoes.

What brands or styles are your go-to's right now?

Oh, and I don't want boots. I hate when my socks slide down.

Others really love Clarks but I have tried them on over and over again, sucked in by cute styles, and they just don't work for my feet.

Another vote for born


And for boots, my born shafts are usually so comfortable that I just wear ankle socks, thin ones from old navy, or thin bamboo from kohl's.

DANSKOS!! I have 6 pairs of the "professional" clogs, and I hardly wear anything else in the cooler months (though this forum is getting me to try some boots!)

Merrells for sandals and Keen for boots. I prefer my Merrell sneakers to sports sneakers (Nike, Reebok, etc), but that's because I mainly wear them for casual walking and not actual sports.

Clarks are my favorite........their privo line. Though I also have some Borns too.

Keens are my favorite, but I have Borns and Clarks too. I have a pair of Arcopedicos that are comfy.

I love Borns - I have a bunch of different styles. Oh, and my New Balance sneakers most of all. :loveeyes:

Danskos and Clarks Indigo and Privo lines. I have a pair of 3.5in heel wedges from Indigo and they are like walking on a cloud!

I love Borns - I have waaay too many pairs! Also Josef Seibel. And Birkenstocks, but those are much more casual.
