Jealous! DH went to Game 4 of the playoffs and we have friends going to game 6 of the WS but tickets are now going for $1K each!

I think we're planning on going and hanging out at Momo's or Pete's Tavern during Game 1 or 2, so we can at least be apart of the fever!

wow that's crazy. Dh bought his ticket on Thursday morning and he paid $400. It's his early birthday/xmas present and he's going with his brother. :)

We were at a Fall Festival today with trick or treating and the best costume was a 10 year old boy wearing a Giants jersey and the big black beard. AWESOME!

We're outside of the City, but DH grew up in SF.

MoMo's was crazy packed, we're trying to make a reservation now.

Pete's Tavern is a good alternative since it's a little further away but it's still going to be packed!

The last time the Giants went to the World Series we were on our honeymoon in Fiji and this was before T1 lines. We had to get on dial up in a little bure to check the score! LOL!

I rooted for the Rangers to beat the Yankees and now will root for the Giants to beat the Rangers. such is the bizarre hierarchy of affection for non-local teams. FWIW I would have rooted for the Phillies had they been the ones to face the Rangers.

I am happy for the Giants, and can't wait for Wednesday. I haven't been this excited for the Giants in maybe 10 yrs. (they got rid of all of my favorites at the wrong time; the list is long so I will save you the agony) as I have been a hard core Angels fan since the mid 90s.

I have always thought I had the best of both worlds when I got to route for JT Snow first as an Angel, then as a Giant. I remember the Darren Baker incident, jease that was scary.

DH isn't much into baseball, but we both commented that the pitching is going to be great. I love that pitchers, esp. closers are about the quirkiest people on earth. Despite the beard I like Brian Wilson (nice backside).

My dad who has been a life long Dodger fan was even pulling for the Giants.

DS was practically incoherent after the game Saturday night. We banished his t-ball Phillies hat and jersey to the closet when the series first started.

Even my 18 month old is obsessed. Any time she's sees baseball on tv, she says Go Guh uns!
