Would you consider the attached picture blurry-bad or blurry-but-artistic?

Honestly? It's really cute but I'd call it blurry-bad.

I don't think it's blurry. I think its too close up. Maybe if he was looking at the camera, I would like it better. Anyway, JMO.

It is a bit blurry. I would not put it on a card or blow it up too much and display one the wall but it is an uber cute shot and it would end up in a frame on my desk or a bookshelf.

Blurry bad. Just not in focus. Cute little boy, though!

I must have really bad eyes--or low standards--because it doesn't really look blurry to me.

Maybe I need a new computer??

Depends on what you want to use it for. Cutie!

Very cute, but blurry-bad.
If I had taken it, I'd be irritated with myself... kiddo is not in focus, but wall and grass are (thus negating blurry-artistic). It would not be as noticeable in a small snapshot though.

That said, I love my own drivers license photo because it is a bit blurry and overexposed... making me look awesome in a 1/2 inch photo.

Blurry-bad. Looks like the grass to the left may be in focus. Cute little boy!

Thanks all! It was one of those deals where he moved at the last second and I have a cannon powershot, which is a bit slow. I love the expression on his face, so I thought I'd ask. I had in mind to use it on a card but as a 2x2, nothing bigger. I will find another pic.

My thoughts exactly. I'm viewing this on a really big monitor, so it is definitely in the blurry bad category. But, PP says it doesn't look blurry, I bet she has a smaller monitor. So if youre not going to blow it up very big, it might work.

Yeah, sorry, blurry bad. Especially at that size. It looks a bit better when the size is reduced:

I agree -- as a 2x2 it might work. It also helps that he is ADORABLE! Can you get a "practice" 2x2 before you print a ton of cards?

Yes, the person who does my cards is great and she would tell me if it looked bad. I'm struggling this year to find some good holiday card pics (1 main pic, 2 mini-pics)....last year I had a handful of "absolute favorite" pics of DS. I was peeved that this pic was blurry. Unfortunately, you can't always tell it's blurry until you upload the pics.
