Charmin with the bears in the woods. I get it, bears poop in the woods. But I don't need to see them contemplating their TP after using it. As if they use it, anyways. :barf:

I love the Allstate commercials featuring Dean Winters as Mr. Mayhem, esp. the "I'm a teenage girl" one.

I can't stand the car commercials for local dealerships and the Free Credit Report.com ads.

I love Geico commercials, but not the ones with the gecko. I like the ones where the guy is like, "Can Geico really save you 15% or more on your car insurance? Does a woodchuck chuck wood?"

"Hey, you dang woodchucks! Stop chucking my wood!!" Hilarious!

They don't really persuade me to buy their insurance, but I get a kick out of watching them.

I love the commercial for the new windows where the mother is trying to get a good family photos, and evetually just replaces her son's head in pne photo with a photo of him smiling from another.

I am eagerly awaiting my favorite Christmas commercials. My two all time favorites:

The bell-ringing Hershey kisses
The M+Ms commercial with Santa ("They DO exist!"

And of course, the Foldgers commercials. They always make me tear up.

Can't remember which company does it, one of the insurance companies I think, but a lady stops the pizza guy from stepping into the street, someone sees her do that and does a good turn for another, and it goes on paying it forward until you go back to the lady stopping the pizza guy. Makes me smile every time.

Mayhem are the best commercials on TV right now. Honestly I think there is major lacking in the commercial department. There has to be more creative minds in advertising.

I also love the Toyota minivan commercials with the Mom proclaiming it's not a "mom" car...there's one where she thinks cops are checking her out at a light but she really has her diaper bag on the top of the car. And one where she's having "spa-time" watching TV in the minivan in her robe. (And I don't even drive a minivan)

TiVo saves me from most commercials. But the ESPN commercial where Derek Jeter is accusing all the guys of using his razor which is full of green fur is hilarious. The Philly Phanatic walks by with a 1/2 shaved back and Jeter is busy yelling at the other guys.

OK, maybe I didn't explain it well. But in general, ESPN has the best commercials. I love the one where Eli and Peyton Manning are on a boring tour of the ESPN headquarters with their mom and dad. They start goofing off and their dad Archie gives them a dirty look. OK, again, I didn't explain it well.

I agree the Mayhem ones are great. I love Dean Winters, he's cool.

Yes! Love ESPN commercials too. Especially their college football rivalry week ones or the Gameday guys.

Along with the sports theme, I love the commercials for the satellite package (is it DirecTV or Dish?) that lets people watch all the games in any part of the country.

So like you have the Ravens fan in New Orleans and the Saints fan has his voodoo doll - "Dirty bird can't fly with a broken wing."

Probably didn't explain it very well...anyway, I love those.

I also love the Mr. Mayhem commercials and the "bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" Geico commercial.

And the sports ones reminded me of the one where Peyton Manning is in different cities to play, and all the hotel staff keeps insulting him and he doesn't get it.

Hotel guy: "Choke on it!"
Manning, as he looks at fruit basket: "Good point! I'll cut it up!"

Hotel girl: "Take a hike!"
Manning, overlooking the outdoors: "Good idea! I think I will!"

I love the Mayhem commercials too - esp the teenage girl in the parking lot one - too funny!

I also like the Head & Shoulders one with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the locker room. One player asks Troy Polamalu if he's been using his shampoo. It's a volumizing variety and every time the pan back to Troy, his hair is bigger and bigger! Cracks me up!

I HATE HATE HATE the squeeling pig commercial... the annoying pig that goes "Wheeeee! Wheee!" in the minivan as the mom is driving him home. I don't know what that commercial is for but I HATE it!

I dislike almost all car commercials that feature children because said children almost never are restrained properly. For example, there is one (Audi?) in which an elementary-school-aged child runs out and hops into the front seat. There is another for a minivan in which the dad tells the little girl to sit in her brother's seat instead of way back in the third row. Of course there is no booster seat in "brother's seat."

But the one that bothers me the most is the one (also for Audi, I believe) in which people get arrrested for choosing plastic at the grocery store and other "environmental" crimes. The car supposedly has a "clean diesel' engine and is let through a barricade. Not only does it seem as if it would offend people who have lived through real fascist nightmares, but I think it also deals a blow to the environmental cause by painting environmentalists as extremists.

I agree with PP about the Hershey's Kisses bells and "They do exist" M & Ms commercials. And there is one I haven't seen for years and miss: The Coca-Cola "Santa packs are coming" commercial.
