I would like to attempt to make a bundle-me type cover for my stroller. Actually, I want to make two for my 20 month old twins. They would be used in my BJCSD stroller.

My kids walk to school in the morning and the twins need to come along for the trip. Last year they were wearing one-piece snowsuits but this year they have bibs and jackets. I think that it might save a lot of time in the mornings to not have to get them fully suited up, but just plunk them in the stroller. They both refuse any type of blanket placed on them, but I figure if it is attached to the stroller, they can't kick it off.

All the toddler size buntings/covers are pretty expensive and I would only use it for this winter season so I would like to attempt to make my own but I don't know where or how to start. My grandmother taught me some basic sewing skills many years ago but I have not done any projects recently. I have tried a few google searches but haven't found anything helpful yet. I think I would first need a pattern and and some basic instructions. Anyone have a good website for this?

the brisitsh baby center site has a nice tutorial: http://community.babycentre.co.uk/post/a5236875/making_a_buggy_snuggle

you can see the instructions without loggin in, but if you create an account (has to be a different log in than the US site you can see the pictures)

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for. Now I just have to gather all the supplies and find the time to put them together. DH thinks I am nuts for attempting this project but he also agrees that it is a bit crazy to spend $150 for something that will be used for less than 6 months.

Thanks, that is very cute, but they will for sure yank them off in a second. I need something I can attach to the stroller.
