I had one of the first George Foreman grills, but I HATED trying to keep that thing clean. I'd love to find something like it, but it needs to actually work well and be easy to clean (removeable trays are a definitely plus.)

Anyone have a recommendation?

Edited: It doesn't have to be like the George Foreman style either...and actual indoor countertop grill would be ok too.

I believe the new George Forman grills do have removable plates so that would make them a whole lot easier to clean than the original style.... I still have an old one and I agree it's a PITA to clean.

we have a cast iron grill pan for the stove top that I love to grill steaks on when it's not BBQing weather.

the indoor grills at Williams Sonoma look interesting

here is a site I found that rated some grills

Thanks. The consumersearch site helped affirm that the two open grills I'd looked at were indeed probably the best choices. I like it when a pro agrees with me! ;)
