Repeat Disneygoers . . . ticket-buying?

So, we are planning on disney world trips at least every other year, maybe each year on some years. I am thinking about starting this winter/spring.

Each visit would be 4-5 days in length.

The question is does it make sense to buy the MAX number of days/no expiration tickets if you are planning on visiting at least twice in three years. Then you could use the unused days the following year? Or is it not a good idea because you lose out on great promotions involving tickets?

Used to be the way to go, and then they dramatically increased the price of the no expiration option. Now, it is cheaper to buy two 5 day tickets than one 10 day ticket that doesn't expire (not by much, but a little). The flipside is that ticket prices do increase each year so by buying now, you lock in today's prices.
