A HS classmate of mine has a (very funny) blog and posted this today:

http://thestir.cafemom.com/beauty_style/111598/the_vulva_necklace_would_you?next=11

Anyone eyeing one for a Christmas present???

The chocolate vulvas really take it to the next level.

I am speechless. Is that for real?

The knitted head-scarf bit was pretty funny, though. :ROTFLMAO:

reminds me of this site that makes purses with vulvas on them (found out about these from a purse forum). i love purses, but don't think i could ever walk around with one of these!

Buy a purse and a necklace and you have a veritable vulva ensemble.

Etsy can be a fairly frightening place.

That's awesome. :) Although I have to wonder about the poor woman who has a green vulva.. yikes! And teeth? Ouch.

I've seen some slightly more discreet jewelry like this: http://www.midwiferytoday.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MT&Product_Code=C409RW6
and
http://www.etsy.com/listing/57129378/crowning

They're not as bad, but still..

I've known a couple of lesbians who are into that sort of representative jewelry (not so much the baby crowning one, though - yowza).

For the person who has everything. I bet they don't have that in a necklace form. :rotflmao:

Oh sweet God.
If I had known how much money there was to be had in the creation of vulva purses, I would have forgone my calling as a teacher long ago...
Have you looked at some of the prices attached to the velvet vulva purses?! For that amount of money, you could buy a real one! (for a few hours, at least... ;) )

For anyone that has ever read Wicked, the green one reminds me of someone...

The whole thing just gives me the creeps. It reminds me of those baby-doll hand soaps. Like parts were chopped off for art work. Ick.

I could almost imagine giving the chocolate to ils (an OB and nurse) to eat at dinner one night. How would I keep a straight face????

Wonder if any Etsy sellers could make me an entire Vulva family decal for the window of our mini-van?

But, Bill, you would not need a vulva to represent yourself, I assume....

Well having the anatomically correct representations may be a bit too much for public display. :p

Why is this suprising?? Wasn't Georgia O'Keefe's claim to fame (and lots of money) because of what her paintings alluding to the "vulva"
