plaid/western shirt

So I bought one of those plaid shirts that kind of look a bit western. Cute and comfortable but don't know if i can pull it off? looks like this:

what do you think? I got it in the blue plaid! MY DH keeps making Yee-Haw noises when he sees it in my closet!

Very cute, like it, but yes be careful with everything else. I'd treat it like a patterned blouse. Try it with Dark Wash jeans (skinny if you have the bod), and a boyfriend cardigan and ballet flats? Just do not add anything western like (cowboy boots) and you'll be fine.

I like them a lot. The sisters in Parenthood are constantly wearing plaid button-ups and they look super cute. I'd like to find one that works for me! I agree that skinny jeans and flats or non-cowboy boots would work.
