Got tons of paperback Sesame Street books, figurines for 18months+, triangular crayons, gift bags, cards, socks, kids' sunglasses.

I got a bunch of character socks, sunglasses and books at 30% off at one store earlier last week, then yesterday I was at our other store and they had the 75% off. Got a few more socks and Sesame St. books but not much else. I'll be back at the first store again tomorrow, will have to check what's left there. Can't beat stocking stuffers for .25!

Star Wars alert- they also had some Star wars dry erase boards, 3-d stickers and glow in the dark stickers that were green dot- all .25 cents each.

Yes, in the dollar section, but those 3 things were the only Star Wars items I saw (I'm always on the look out these days)

The green dot is on the tag -- next to the barcode.

The colored dots are usually on the back of the items so you can tell what is green vs another color. If you don't see the dot, you could try scanning them to see the price.

I went today and they were packing up things with green dots. I had gone to pick up a pair of sock off a shelf and they lady told me they were not for sale. when I asked why she said the items had been there for 2 months and were now "salvage" and they were being shipped out. I was hoping to get some stocking stuffers...no luck.

No green dot items at my store either, they were putting out Christmas items. The Halloween items weren't green and were marked 50% off (but I didn't scan them b/c I didn't need them).

How frustrating! Sounds like maybe yesterday was the last day for green dot?

I wonder why there was no sign (it sounds like) at many stores for this dollar spot clearance...wouldn't it be better to get the stuff sold than salvage it out?

All green dot stuff was gone at my Target today as well, only Christmas stuff out now. Ah well, I got a bunch earlier at 30% and 75% off, guess I didn't need more!

My store had a sign yesterday. I bought two pairs of reading glasses and popped the lenses out. They're great in the dress-up box. My 17m daughter has been wearing one pair all day.

No sign at either of the Targets I went to on Sunday, but both stores green dot rang up 75%. Only reason I knew to look was saw it mentioned on another site, one of the "coupon mom" type of blogs.

Occasionally I google "dollar spot clearance Target" just to see what comes up.

SO sorry original post got some hopes up and resulted in disappointment -- Target sure is YMMV!
