Not really a deal - but we got a nice one from Ikea quite a few years ago that's held up really well and looks decent! It was a wooden one with a slow close lid.

I picked up 4 last week from Target. They were the RE Style brand and on clearance for 75% off ($14.98 for the larger, rectangular style and $9.98 for the square, cube style). I was there as the markdowns were happening and they were going from 30% to 75%! I grabbed 2 of each style and when I was back later in the day, the entire display was gone. Because of their apprently quick disappearance, I'd definately say YYMV at this point but I wanted to pass it on just in case!

These are a little more, but these hinged storage benches from overstock ROCK. They hold so much stuff. I actually bought two benches to put underneath a triple window in our living room to make a pseudo "bay window seating area." One bench holds ALL my DD's downstairs toys with room to spare, and the second bench holds all our pillows and blankets. Very sturdy and look good with my furniture. DD can both sleep on the bench or sit at the window and read. We had a party recently and I propped pillows on the bench and against the wall/window. To my surprise, everyone gravitated to these benches. However, the best thing about this bench is the hinged lid. It opens up without having to pull it back from the wall, and will only close if pushed down. I highly recommend them, and you can get them cheaper with overstock coupons and ebates.
