I need a coat for my son so bad that this is tempting! I haven't ordered from Boden since he was much smaller.

So for Boden moms :) would a 4 year old (5 next March) be better off getting the 3-4 size or getting the 5-6 size? He's a tall skinny kid so I don't want it short on him but also not hanging on him.

I would get the 5-6 BUT I would also recommend you read reviews and look at the measurements, which are very accurate. My 4.5 yr old DD fits a 5-6 very well; she is 44 inches tall and about 41 lb. But since fit varies by item, and probably by gender too, I'd read the reviews and info. I just can't see how you'd get much use out of 3-4, which my DD has pretty much outgrown.

you guys aren't going to believe it-- i am NOT placing a boden order today :) hehe :) we almost have all our packages (just have a layered shirt and our red heart trousers in the right size coming still) and only duplicates are going back -- *sigh* i am VERY happy with my child's closet now --everything is so pretty & cozy and fun :)

oh... i typed to soon- we are also waiting for a star hoodie dress...we'll see when that comes :)
