Deals on P90X?

Does anyone know how to get a deal on this workout video? My husband wants it for his birthday but I'm having a hard time stomaching the cost... Especially since he may grow bored with it quickly.

Just be careful, some of the ones on CL and eBay are copied versions. Some of the copied DVDs may not work and some don't come with the printed manuals or nutrition guide. You can search 'p90x scam'.

Lol, so did it work for him? My DH is so curious about this program. I have a friend who is doing it with her husband right now and she told me if it doesn't work out, we can try it, lol. She's only done it for a little over a wk, but says she's in major pain.

I just ran into a friend I haven't seen in a few months and he lost 22 pounds in just 2 months with the program!! :bighand: Apparently he was upchucking for the first 2 days while his body acclimated to the program (though he said he didn't strictly follow the diet, just the workout). I keep hearing that it's painful too. I guess there's no "easy" solution!!! :p

DH and I are doing the P90X together. We're not following the diet guide, just doing the exercise videos. the first week was painful, my legs were hurting with every step. we're on week 4 now, not so painful. 8 more weeks to go....
