bike for 2 year old-not a balance bike:(

so dh isn't going to go for the balance bike thing:( He let me do the 'different' thing with the Tripp Trapp high chair and that didn't work for us, so......

okay anyways what trike do you suggest? I have $10 off on Little Tykes and grama gave me about a $50 budget including shipping and tax.....

We got DN the Kettler Go Green trike at Target for his 2nd birthday. It took him about a week to peddle on his own, that was in May and he still LOVES it. Its around $39, you could get a helmet with the extra $.

I am guessing you are wanting a tricycle for your 2 yo--learning to pedal can take some time. We bought DS1 a radio flyer trike around 2-3 and a sturdy helmet.

With a trike, I would definitely get one with a push bar. At age 2, neither of mine could pedal so I was left to pushing them - killed my back!

We had the Radio Flyer but without the pushbar. Definitely get a helmet, too.
