If I were to buy something at Old Navy, but go through Banana Republic and then click on Old Navy (to get 8% back on ebates vs 2%, which is what ON is at now), would I get just the 2% back or the full 8% back?

You should get the 8% back. Just to be sure, I recommend putting the ON items in your cart first, then open a separate window and go to ebates, click thru BR and then check out directly thru that click (ON items should already be in your cart). This way you never even go into the ON screen after clicking thru ebates and you will check out thru the BR portal.

I've done this before and it works to get the higher ebates amount.

It's worked for me in a similar situation where rei.com had higher cashback than rei-outlet.com.
