I'm thinking of replicating this IKEA hack with an LACK table I have

But DD is Duplo-aged. The Duplo 15x15 plates aren't really a good size for the table. Can I use standard Lego plates with Duplo bricks?

Yup it should work fine. Our lego table is used for Duplos currently.

Its better to use the lego plates so that when you need a lego table you are already set ;)

Thanks, yay! My Lack table was $7, so the whole thing will cost me just over $30. LOVE thrift.

Thanks for the idea. We have a very old Fisher Price Kids table and chairs sitting in our basement not doing anything. I am going to turn it into a Lego table.

I absolutely agree. Trying to decide whether I need to make both a black one and a pink one for DS5 and DD (almost 4). DS5 has an old train table which he won't share

This is one of our presents for our boys this year along with a lot of legos since they are hooked on them. I've been eying this hack for a while! The 10x10 plates are on amazon for I think $5something/plate.

We have a Nilo table upstairs and to get the lego plate add-on for it was $$. I thought we could just make this instead and move it room to room or wherever we feel like it!
