Looking for tips on keeping track of the budget and any other ways you organize for the holiday's.

I have a little notebook in my bag that has ideas for people. Then I use another page to keep track of exactly what I bought for a person and how much it cost. This year I think I will use another page to keep a tally of what i've spent too.

I keep a draft email in outlook with people and ideas/what I purchased. Not super techie but works for me. I also keep ideas in my amazon cart.

I have a Google Docs spreadsheet.

I use the notes app (pic of yellow legal paper) on my iPod touch. That thing is always with me and I will probably not lose it like I would paper. Each kid has two pages. One with ideas, one with my total $ I've spent so far.

I keep adding columns each year, so I have a record from one year to the next.

Excel spreadsheet that i refer to from one year to the next. i also include DD2's bday stuff on it since she is a December bday.
