Which version do you suggest?

I was just going to get the regular one, but I'd love do hear what people say.

I wish I could remember what we ended up with. I'll see if I can find our packaging later.

Does it shoot discs? If so, it's the Deluxe. If not, the regular.

Okay, that's easy. Regular and he never missed the disks.

He and DH just built the Knex Spider Robot (Moto Bots series) and that was fun albeit a bit tedious. I got it for him last year and he built it one time and it was in the basement out of rotation...just rebuilt and he had a lot of fun with that too. I think I picked that up last year for half off at AC Moore.

Should I pull the trigger? It is $45.33 on Amazon today.

DS1 loves robots and likes SCs, but has only built and rebuilt the rover 2-3x in over a year. He plays with it, but doesn't rebuild it. I don't know if I'd buy it again. However, he did really enjoy it and really really wanted to build a robot, so it satisfied that.

THe SC sets are more open ended and I feel he plays more with those.

Okay, probably the regular then.

DS loves the snap circuits and he's getting some parts and pieces of real electrical stuff from my dad, who's an electrical engineer. Should be fun.
