I know this isn't the best bargain time to shop for a new tree, but I would LOVE to buy a pre-lit tree this year. I do all the lights and ornaments, and quite frankly, I'm tired of tearing my hands up to get the lights on. I'm just so delicate....

I like white lights, but DH insists on multi-colored. Any good trees out there that look pretty decent?

I love the one at Costco, but it's pricey. I think we'll get a real tree this year, maybe next year I'll bite the bullet and get the Costco one.

I got a lovely 7.5 foot pre-lit slim tree at Sam's Club last year. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT! I detest putting on lights, and the pre-lit tree made the decorating much more enjoyable for me.

The one I got had some flocking (fake snow) on it. Usually I'm not a fan of that, but this one was so well done. I liked how it broke up the green some.

Hahaha, my DH prefers multicolored and I like white lights too:) We compromised on white lights for the tree and multicolored for outside.

We got ours from Home Depot after Christmas one year. It was a pricey $200 tree that we got half off. It's beautiful, with LOTS of little white lights.

Costco will probably get you the best in-season price.

Don't know if they have them where you live, but we bought our last two at Menard's. They always have a huge selection of trees and decorations.

We just bought a new one last year, and though I really LOVE the idea of pre-lit, I couldn't stomach the idea of the lights not working and having to string them anyway some day.

Hope you find one you love.

We got ours at Target the day afte Christmas about 10 years ago. Great bargain and such a great investment!
I'd advise going one more holiday with a real tree and plan to get the prelit one right after Christmas... will save you at least 30%.

We bought one from Home Depot that had white lights and red berries, which add a nice pop of color. We love it with our red, gold and crystal ornaments. I think we paid $119 and it stands 6.5 feet tall.

We bought a very nice tree from Target & even got it set up. On our next Costco trip we saw how pretty the trees were. So we bit the bullet and picked up a second one. Next to one another what a HUGE difference. For a similar price the Costco one was fuller and had more lights. Both were all white light by the way.
I don't regret spending the extra money for something we will have for a very long time. Love it!

For what it's worth - A coworker bought a dual light tree from QVC (or something) a few years ago. She said it has both white and colored lights. There is some kind of switch that allows them to have all white (for her) or colored (for the kids). It sounded terrific but I couldn't find it.

I paid a premium, I am sure. We bought ours in early December a few years ago after DS accidentally knocked down the old one and broke it. But, we got it at English Gardens.

Sorry to jump in, but I noticed a bunch of people mention Costco. Has anyone seen them there this season? I would love to take a look at one.

Lowe's. We have a prelit one with white lights. I love just being able to put it up without having to string the lights up! It's 7.5 feet tall and I can't remembe how much we paid. Maybe $150? It has a lot of lights and is very full. And very heavy to move!

Ours has them up. We bought our pre-lit tree at Costco too. I've been really happy with it. Once I get it in the house, it is easy for me to put up by myself.
