Here's the big sale where boys' pants (double knee cruisers, comfort cords, regular cords) were only $5 and $10 last year. Not sure if they will be these prices this time. Good on all baby, girl, and boy hannas from fall and holiday 2009. Sale ends on 11/15. Happy shopping!!

ooh! so is this like the monster sale last month, have to call an outlet and ask what they have etc and then place an order??

hmm, now that we know dc #2 is a girl i could potentially buy baby girl stuff for next winter..combined with what i want to get for DS as well, this could be bad! :)

I was just thinking I should call and see if they will put things on hold for me. Wonder what they might have. . . . Pants for ds would be good (maybe 120s? Not sure.). Could buy play dresses and leggings ahead for dd, maybe. . . .

BTW, this is just Fall 2009, so it whatever they have leftover from the EOS last year, this year, outlet sales, monster sales, etc etc. Slim pickings. I did read elsewhere that they have half-zip fleece sweatshirts at either $10 or $15 and some LJs at $15. But also that some of the Xmas LJs on sale are printed upside down! I think I shall sit this one out...

There wasn't much left of that when I called for the last sale. Do they get more stock?

Sometimes, but at this point, I think Fall 2009 is pretty close to DONE.

ETA deals to be had: $5 mocs in French blue and navy blue only. $10 zippers only in the Halloween designs. Lots of individual pieces, but not too many sets.

Just called IN about small baby sizes since I'm getting my friend some stuff for her baby shower. They had a bunch of size 50 playdress/legging sets for only $15, the cream colored little bear fleece jackets in smaller sizes for $10, wiggle pants and jeepers for $5. Halloween LJs/zippers are $10.

Do you know exactly which sizes they had in the cream colored bear fleece? I need a 70.

No, I didn't ask about exact sizes, but it seemed like they had a bunch of stuff in sizes 50-60, esp. 50.

IMHO, why do they even make things in a 50.

my thoughts exactly. i saw a zipper pj in sz 50 at the store the other day, and my first thought was, wow this is soo tiny!! my son would have been able to wear it for like 2wks max (and he was 18", less than 7lbs at birth). now that i know i'm having a girl, i want to get girl stuff in smaller size but i don't think i could justify getting anything in sz 50, esp since it likely would only be worn a handful of times at best. i already feel bad about the loads of NB/3mo clothing that people gifted us and DS didn't even get a chance to wear!

I did buy a 50 equivalent at Costco in the zippers for DD2, but everything else has been 60 or 70s. I like the 60 zipper pjs much more than the lone 50 I had though. I am crossing my fingers that the roomy fitted sleepers (http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC%7c7%7c1%7c156%7c309%7c9%7c%7c&simg=37009_01F) are part of the EOS sale in December because I will be stocking up in 70s and 80s for DD2. Last year I got some long johns for DD1 for $15 at the EOS sale.

I keep checking back, hoping they'll add boy colors in these! I prefer sleepers w/ feet. Are these always a girl item? I've considered the cookie print, but I don't know...

Same reason other brands make a size 0-3 months. My Dd got 3 solid months of wear out of her size 50 zippers and still fits into sz 50 cable knit and fleece sweaters. If they didn't make sz 50, she wouldn't have been able to wear Hanna till 5 months! Some of the older sz 50s we have (from 2000-2002) fit DD1 all the way to 8 months - they are cut like sz 60.

That said, Id much rather buy Hannas that can be worn for a year than outgrown in 3 months!

My Dd was 8 lbs 1 oz when she was born, I forget height 20" or so. These were big on her at birth but fit about a month later, then for a couple of months after that. Same with the zippers, wiggle pants, etc. We cloth-diapered so that helped to hold up her bottoms.

Everything in a 50 looks tiny until you have a newborn, then they look huge next to them! :)

I called tonight and asked about mocs and LJ since that was what I was interested in. They were able to go to the racks and let me know. I think it's good to have some idea of what you want, but I must say that HA associates are very helpful!

DS was 7lbs 11 ouces and wore the 50s for a couple of months at least. The 60s were ridiculously big. Even the 50s were really big at birth and he's an average size.

Got 20 things for $110, shipped, including a pair of mocs for $2.50. It had a small red ink mark on the bottom of the sole so she gave it to me for half price.

I'm excited about my first Hanna purchase! This is what we picked up from the VA outet:
80-journeys end snowsuit, $15
80-l/s dark pink creeper with light pink stripes, $5
80-matching pink wiggle pants with light/dark pink stripes, $5
90-l/s pink polka dot creeper, $5
90-matching wiggle pants with light/dark pink stripes, $5
90-pink tights w/ruffle, $5
5/7-blue mocs, $5 (all girl colors were gone but I wanted to try them anyway)

I'm waffling on the snowsuit though. A few weeks ago I picked up LL Bean trail model fleece coveralls for 15 as well. So does anyone have an opinion on the Hanna snowsuit? Some years the snow is negligible here and I'm wondering if keeping both outfits is overkill.

Survivor jackets ran $15- picked one up in red in 100..... also got some cute red and white patterned tights for $5 to go with the 2009 red cord dress I bought a couple weeks ago for Christmas.......

The theme is RED- because I like DD to wear more than pink!:bighand:

Keep the fleece snowsuit - that's great for errands and such when it is cold out. The fleece fits well in the car seat. The snowsuit, I don't know. At 18mo my boys didn't like being outside in the snow. But $15 is awfully cheap, just in case.

DS only used his Hanna snowsuit a handful of times last winter. He did not enjoy being out in the snow. He was 10-15months old last winter and also wore a size 80. $15 is a great price, esp. if you think you'll use it a few times.

I was thinking the hanna one was better b/c it is waterproof. As you both have pointed out it is possible that it won't matter. At that price it was hard to pass up. Not bad for a just in case outfit I guess. Thanks for your input!

I went to Kittery over the weekend and the 2009 stuff was totally picked over so the selection was pretty bad in DS1' size (90-100). Managed to pick up a couple of Halloween LJs ($10 each--but they only had up to size 100), SJ for me ($15 was a steal), and a NB hat/mitten for DS2 ($5 each).

Unfortunately they did not have any of the $5 mocs--apparently they sold out on the 1st day. I was also hoping to pick up some pants--in the past I've picked up comfort cords for $5 and double knee sweats for $10--but most of the pants this time around were price $15 and up.
