DD has loved some really junky craft kits she got as party favors, so I thought we might get her some nicer kits for Christmas. I've gathered that sticky mosaics are a good choice, but what else should I consider? I'm just a little overwhelmed by all the offerings on Amazon. She has excellent fine motor skills, if that makes a difference.

Bookmarking this one for my soon-to-be 5 yr old as well!

DD is 4.5, but she likes paint-by-number. She just did these (http://www.amazon.com/Alex-Number-5-Inch-7-Inch-Friends/dp/B000BR67UO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1289389930&sr=8-3).

ETA: Fixed the link and wanted to add that there isn't a paint "key", which helped DD just go ahead and paint them. The spots are numbered 1-5 and the paint colors are in the shapes of 1-5. So, a key, but super easy to follow and no looking somewhere to find out what color #1 should be.
