Car toy for 18-month old?

I'm looking for recommendations for a toy that will keep DD occupied while we're in the car.

She's 18 months old, so she's too young for a leapster-type toy, I think, but is there something similar to the leapster that is more age-appropriate? I'm thinking something interactive that she can hold in her hands and push buttons.

Any recommendations?

My kids started playing with the travel sized magnadoodle pretty early. Not sure if they were that young but I think they may have been.
