Specialized Hot Rock $50 on CL - good price or not?

I saw a Specialized Hot Rock 12" bike on Craigslist yesterday for $50. DS just learned to ride his Huffy 12" without training wheels. Is the Hot Rock a lightweight bike? The Huffy feels so heavy, especially for a 3 year old. Is $50 a good price? I'm thinking yes, but really have no idea.

Yes...$50 for a Specialized Hotrock is very good (depending on condition, of course).

A 2011 Hotrock retails for about $180.

They are extremely well-made bikes and only available through local bike shops that are Specialized dealers. Much better quality than Huffy, imo.
