View Full Version : Age for Train Table?

Considering getting the one from Costco seen here:

or possibly something else for my DS, who will be 3.5 at xmas. Is he getting too old? We also have a DD, 5, but are not planning on any other dc so only one who would be using the table would be our son. How long can we expect him to play with this? He is into all things related to "machines" or otherwise.

We bought a 2nd train table last year for DS1. It's in his room now and he does marble runs and Lego on it. He's 6.5 years old. Our original is in the playroom with trains on it for DS2.

We have a Nilo table, and Jack is 4.5- with no signs of growing out of it... I love the Nilo because you can buy longer legs for it for when the kids get older.
I also love that it isn't just a train table. It's perfect for Quadrilla, Lego, Lincoln Logs...anything that requires a flat surface.... LOVE that table. Best investment I could have ever made.
