DD turns 2 soon and I want to bring some treats in for her daycare class to celebrate. Her teachers kind of implied that they would prefer something other than cupcakes, although cupcakes would be fine. I think that at this age DD really won't care so it makes sense to go the healthy route. Any ideas for cute fruit treats (animal shapes etc) or other choices? Thanks!!

Are you going to be there to serve it? If so I have brought in this apple slicer http://www.applesource.com/peeler.html and cut apples for the kids. They love the novelty of the spiral cut apple and also watching the peel come off in one long piece.

Strawberries with some whipped cream to dip them in? Apples with some warm caramel to dip in? Fruit cobbler? Fruit kabobs, maybe with an occasional mini marshmallow?

Happy birthday to your little one!
